i sew and make clothing, it is a love of mine. if i weren’t such a contrarian i would be working in the fashion industry. but i find the industry shallow, wasteful, and an embodiment of the plague of consumerism. so, i hate that i love fashion so much. the vitriol comes through most when a designer i generally like does stupid things. i mock them but really it’s my rational brain mocking my emotional brain. we all have our demons. mine use bias cuts and sequins.
